for families of all shapes & sizes!

Family Life Education

Over 400 courses and workshops are offered annually through the Family Life Education (FLE) Program. Courses and workshops are offered both at our centre and through an outreach basis.

Programs and services in the Family Life Education program focus on increasing the social and emotional development of children, promoting, and strengthening caregivers’ parenting skills and knowledge. Families and community members are connected to community supports and resources.

Family Life Education Programs focus on:

  • Early Childhood Programs

  • Child and Youth Programs*

  • Parent & Caregiver Education

  • Information & Referral

*Child & Youth programs are offered in the schools and in-house, running evenings, PD Days, spring break, early dismissal and summer break.

Program Information

Family Support Program

Our FREE Family Support Program offers one-on-one education, support and referrals to parents or the primary caregivers of children, through every stage of development! Newborn, toddler, tween or teen – we have a program unique to every family and their needs.

Family Support programs focus on:

  • Home Visitation

  • Parent Coach

  • Health for Two

  • Developmental Screens

  • Ages and Stages Questionnaire

*All our Family Support Programs are FREE. We can meet participants in their home, our office, or, in the community. Each of these programs vary in length and intake criteria
